Our tables

Manufactured from a single piece of solid wood, 80mm thick and in lengths ranging from 2 to 4 meters in 5 different sizes (2m, 2.5m, 3m, 3.5m and 4m), with a width that ranges from 800 and 1,100mm this being directly dependant in each individual case on the size of the trunk of the tree from which it came.

Complying with the highest quality standards, when evaluating each piece we look for the best in its shape, size, grain quality and structural integrity so that the final piece reminds us at all times of the perfection that Nature itself can achieve.

All come varnished with water-based matte lacquers and come pre-assembled with two transverse wooden legs that give the table its 750mm height. We also have sets of iron legs available as an option to give your table a more light and refined look.

Our production process is as follows:

1. The most round and regular logs are chosen to be cut into the shape and length of table top.

2. They go through a vacuum oven to pass through a deworming treatment and destroy all the fungi it may contain.

3. Drying for at least 30 days and treatment at 100°C reduces its degree of humidity and kills any insects that may be hidden inside.

4. Verification that the humidity has dropped below between 8 and 12% to guarantee its dimensional stability.

5. Quality control to detect cracks. Clean, level, smooth and polish the wood.

6. Machining of the lower face to relieve strength from the fibres, so that they do not deform the table top.

7. Drilling of the two cross holes to place the metal cores, which will help to maintain their flat shape.

8. Drilling of the top, the legs and the cross boards and insert the nuts for assembly.

9. Assemble the table with its legs and cross board to check the final shape and adjust the height.

10. Varnish with water-based matt lacquer.

11. Disassemble and pack to protect it during the voyage.

12. Shipment to Barcelona.

On the other hand, we can ask Indonesia for any other product or assembly you desire since we have direct contact with the manufacturer of these wonderful pieces and we will be happy to share your special project made with this material!

Suar wood

Comes from the Albizia Saman tree, also known as Samanea Saman, Raintree or Monkey Pod, from the legume family (Fabaceae) and lives in both Asian and American tropical areas. We import ours directly from Indonesia.

The wood has an average weight of between 450 and 640kg per cubic meter which places it in the lower band of the Hardwoods. It is classified between 'Moderately Resistant' to 'Resistant’ to putrefaction and this variability can be explained, at least in part by its growth rate, which is influenced by the amount of rain it receives throughout its life. This resistance makes it very suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The wood of our tables is ethically and legally guaranteed and certified by the following Independent Government Bodies:
